Sarah Levitt is an agent at Aevitas Creative Management in New York. She is interested in the space between fiction and nonfiction; fiction so informed that it reads like nonfiction, nonfiction so enthralling and far-reaching that it feels like a novel. 

With narrative nonfiction, she is looking for (group) biography, cultural history, memoir, science, "ideas" books, reportage/investigative narrative, sports, technology, humor, and true crime. 

With literary fiction, she is looking for imaginative, fresh, concept and voice-driven stories with a firm plot at its center (let the stakes be high!). This also includes mainstream literary fiction that plays around with magical realism, the speculative, the sci-fi (read: Other) space. 

She received her BA in Classics and English from NYU, and previously worked at The Zoë Pagnamenta Agency, where she also handled contracts and foreign rights on behalf of the agency for five and a half years.
